Sun-dried tomatoes are created by carefully treating ripe tomatoes with salt then spreading them out in the fresh air to be aged by the Sun step by step, day after day, slowly and comfortably. After the process is complete, they can be used as an antipasto, on toast, in pastas, pizzas and any other creations, pairing extraordinarily well with basil and Pesto sauce.
