With a fine, powdery consistency, the spicy paprika has a sweet taste with a certain level of spiciness to it, but not as strong as pure chilli or other similar seasonings. Due to its strong red pigments, it offers gorgeous coloring to any type of food it touches and adds a peppery kick. This Hungarian variety of the paprika can be used as a meat rub, but is also a great addition to more classical recipes such as Goulash or Paprikash.
